COURSE
OBJECTIVE:
Upon completion of this course,
the nursing assistant should be able to:
Demonstrate the use of scientific
principles of care; governing selected nursing functions by passing
written examinations, psychomotor
skill test and other course requirements.
Demonstrate the ability to
function as a beginning nurse aide by:

Working
as a responsible member of the health care team

Recognizing
physical and psychological changes in the client’s condition and
promptly and accurately reporting these observations.

Completing
required nursing procedures thoroughly with concerns for safety and
comfort of the client.
